Fifteen things a Year 6 kid graduating from the school I'm describing has to be able to do.

Read fluently, write a 2,000-word researched piece, and edit their own work

Work across the whole NSW K-6 maths syllabus with mastery, not bluff

Give a ten-minute talk to a room of unfamiliar adults, no notes

Lead a yarning circle on a topic they chose

Swim a kilometre in open water and handle themselves around a small boat

Finish a half marathon or equivalent

Cook a meal for thirty people from a planned menu and a real budget

Plan, run and acquit a community project of at least $500

Play an instrument to intermediate level and perform publicly

Make one substantial physical object, furniture, a working device, something sewn

Direct an AI to do useful work, check its output, and explain when not to trust it

Speak basic Bidjigal and identify ten native plants on local Country

Hold a real relationship with an older Australian across several years

Write to a politician and get a reply

Write down, in their own words, who they're becoming as a learner

One of the fifteen mentions AI, which is roughly the point. The AI-native school is mostly not about AI, it's about what you do with the hours AI hands back. Tell me which one you'd cut and what you'd put in instead. I'll take the good answers seriously.
